Screenwriting courses at Pinewood Studios
Two-day courses for screenwriters The first of these is next weekend, so it may be too late to get to the first of them, but there are other dates coming up in June and September. 24-25 March 2007 23-24 June 2007 22-23 September 2007 The courses are given by Robbie Moffat, who, as a film director and writer has insight into what makes a script work. Each 2-day event will include sessions on the art of good dialogue, creating real characters, the art of rewriting, structural analysis, adaptations, surviving as a writer and much more. The courses will take place in Pinewood Studios, the most famous film studio in Europe, giving participants a glimpse into their possible futures. Robbie's approach to being successful in a highly competitive industry is interactive and lively. He has a firm grasp on the ups and downs that go hand in hand with being a writer trying to make ends meet. There will be time for individual questions, group work, personal writing and of course socialising with industry professionals.
